Capcom debuted a new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance during PlayStation's September State of Play, offering a major look at the expansion's new story, monsters, locale and combat systems.
Ascendance takes the Expedition Team beyond the ending of Monster Hunter Wilds and introduces the Skybound Eyrie, a new region floating above the clouds. The expansion also brings the colossal Lao-Shan Lung back into the story and introduces Gundoraja, a newly discovered Elder Dragon capable of controlling storm clouds.
