Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 Launches October 14 — Vashtorr Revealed & Mick Gordon Joins

Auroch Digital and Big Fan Games confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 will launch October 14, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

A Nintendo Switch 2 version has also been announced and is scheduled to arrive later in 2026.

The Gamescom trailer provides the first major look at Vashtorr the Arkifane, a powerful daemonic demigod who serves as Boltgun 2's central antagonist.

After a catastrophic attack destroys much of an Imperial fleet, the heroes must move from world to world to stop the corruption powering Vashtorr's plans.

Ultramarine Malum Caedo returns from the original Boltgun and is joined by Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath.

The pair face Chaos forces across multiple worlds as the sequel expands the original game's fast, retro-inspired first-person combat.

The release-date trailer features a first teaser of an original track created for Boltgun 2 by guest composer Mick Gordon.

Gordon is widely known for his work on DOOM, DOOM Eternal and Wolfenstein: The New Order, making the collaboration a notable addition for fans of high-intensity shooters.

Boltgun 2 continues the original game's strafing-heavy shooter design while expanding the available weapons and enemy roster.

Returning threats include Nurglings and Chaos Cultists, while new enemies include Bloodletters and Juggernauts.
