The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered launches September 29, 2026 with upgraded visuals, performance and gameplay, plus a free upgrade for eligible existing owners.

CD PROJEKT RED announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026. The upgraded edition launches September 29, 2026.

Remastered modernizes the acclaimed RPG with improved textures, reworked lighting, ray-tracing improvements and gameplay refinements while preserving the original adventure.

CD PROJEKT RED says the upgrade will be free for existing owners on qualifying platforms. The Remastered release is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with native Nintendo Switch 2 and Battle.net versions also planned for September 29.
